Wenn ich scrolle rollte das Bild und das ganze ist leider sehr langsam. Was kann ich dagegen tun? Ich bedanke mich schon jetzt für Eure Hilfe!
Des weiteren suche ich noch einen Druckertreiber für Brother HL-2030.

Mein System:
– openSuse 10.2
– KDE

1. was genau ist langsam ( webbrowser , kde generell ? )

2.welche Hardware benutzt Du ?

3. was sagt cups ?

Hauptsächlich merke ich das, wenn ich unter KDE etwas herunter scrolle. Die Hardware wird sogar richtig erkannt. Ich benutzte eine Geforce 6100 auf ein ASRock Board. Der Meldet des weitern, das mein System keine Framebuffer unterstützen.

OK mach mal folgendes:

terminal öffnen und dann “less /etc/X11/xorg.conf”

dann alles in die zwischenablage und ab in den thead hier, mal sehen was Deine xorg.conf sagt.

hat wohl nicht ganz hingehauen, versuch mal die Datei mit einem Editor unter KDE
zu öffnen( xedit oder openoffice ), dann kommt sie vollständig hier an, war leider nur der erste teil.

nv hat geklappt! Aber was habe ich denn da jetzt überhaupt gemacht?
Wie kriege ich jetzt eigentlich noch mein Brother HL-2030 am laufen?

Damit hast Du den richtigen “Treiber” für Deine NVidia Grafikkarte eingestellt.
Der fbdev ist nur ein generischer Treiber.

Hast Du schon den Treiber für den Brother HL-2060 versucht? Der sollte bei SuSE 10.2 eigentlich dabei sein.

Hi Ich habe das gleiche Problem, verwende das Geforce 6100SM-M als Mainboard mit integrierter Grafikkarte. Es ruckelt eigentlich alles beim scrollen, alle Browser, Fenster wenn ich sie verschiebe, etc.
