danke erstmal für die hilfe.
leider konnte ich die datei modprobe.conf nicht finden.
in der datei modules.conf fand ich folgende einträge.

dass bei dir nur die Datei modules.conf existiert liegt daran, dass du einen
Kernel der 2.4er Serie einsetzt. Ab Kernel 2.6 heißt diese Datei modprobe.conf.
Das soll aber nicht weiter stören. Nimm einfach alle oben bschriebenen
Änderungen in der Datei modules.conf vor.
Der Eintrag
alias char-major-81 bttv
existiert übrigens bereits, du musst also nur noch die Optionen (s. o.)
hinzufügen.

hab soweit alles verstanden.:-)
nur eines noch? wo soll der eintrag mit der option stehen?
wohin soll ich ihn schreiben? direct darunter funktioniert es nicht. :-(

Eigentlich kann der Eintrag schon direkt darunter stehen.
Was bedeutet “direkt darunter funktioniert es nicht”?
Geht die Karte trotzdem nicht richtig oder werden die Treiber nicht geladen?
Es könnte mir hilfreich sein, wenn du die Module via “rmmod bttv tuner”
entfernst, mit “modprobe bttv” wieder lädtst und die Kernelmeldungen (“dmesg”)
hier postest.
Auch mögliche Fehlermeldungen beim Laden der Module dürften interessant sein.

ich gebe erst einmal auf.
übernächste woche bekomme ich ein neues betriebssystem.

so, hab alles noch mal neu gemacht.
sie geht,, hab nach der installation gesagt, ich möchte selber nach sender suchen.
ich denk sie hat es dann so eingetragen wie du es gern hättest. :-)

ich habe festgestellt, dass die Empfangsqualität wesentlich besser wird, wenn
ein anderer Tuner eingestellt wird.

In der Dokumention der Kernelquellen, speziell
Dokumentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.tuner findest du die Nummern aller
unterstützten Tuner.

Du müßtest dann bei option bttv tuner=0 die 0 durch die entsprechende Nummer
ersetzen.

Bei mir ist das Bild z.B. bei tuner=5 wesentlich schärfer.

Einfach mal durchprobieren.
